Youth Care, Inc. is a private, non-profit agency
founded in 1980 by Gerald Huber. His vision was to
provide a quality residential living environment for
developmentally disabled youth to prepare them for
independent living. The mission of Youth Care, Inc. is
to provide these very special young people with the
tools they need to become contributing, productive
members of the community.

Few programs exist in Omaha for clients who have the mix of a mental disability, a mental illness and a history of
abuse. Youth Care & Beyond's program is specifically designed to address these unique and complex needs.
It takes time, patience, love and a well-designed program to overcome the obstacles of a disability, to unravel the
threads of a mental illness and to heal the wounds of abuse.
